GENERAL ENGINEERING (CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL OR ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL) :

SSC JE PREPARATION FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING-:

Like all the other streams, hard work and a clear cut strategy are all that is impotant while preparing for the civil engineering stream. There are some key points to be remember while preparing for the civil Engineering stream:
1) Familiarization with the civil engineering syllabus is a must for SSC JE preparation.

2) Find relevant books, Previous year question and exam analysis covering every topic of the SSC JE Civil engineering Syllabus.


3) The questions from SSC JE civil engineering will mostly be theoretical in nature. Around 70 to 80%of total question will be theoretical and one must clear their theoretical concepts in order to be able to answer most of the question.

4) Learn time management while practising for SSC JE Civil Engineering.

SSC JE PREPARATION FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING-:


On the outset, the SSC JE Electrical Engineering subject may look not very difficult, but a little effort is more than  enough to crack it. There are some key points to be remember while preparing for Electrical Engineering subject:-

1) Candidates must polish their knowledge the Electrical Engineering Syllabus for SSC JE Preparation.

2) A list of repeatedly asked topics must be prepared along with short notes for quick reference if required.

3) For the Electrical Engineering exam the questions will be mostly about theoretical concepts. Clearing theoretical concepts must take priority.

4) At least about 14 to 17% of the Electrical Engineering Question Paper will be based on the measurement and measuring instruments and it is a mix of numerical and theory.

5) From Basic  Electronic, question will be theoretical or simple formula based. These questions are not to be avoided as candidates can score high marks from attempting these questions.

SSC JE PREPARATION FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING-:


The preparation for mechanical engineering ia a simple effort but it needs cnstant effort to do well. There following are the key points to be remember while preparing for Mechanical engineering in the SSC JE Exam:

1)Aspirant must familiarise with the complete syCandidates who will clear the Preliminary (Paper I) exam of SSC JE (Junior Engineer) 2020 will be eligible to appear for the Mains (Paper-II) exam as the next step of the selection process.

2) Candidates must ensure that all doubts and concept are clear before attempting mock tests.

3) At least a minimum of 2 hours must be allotted to efficiently solve SSC JE Mock test.

3) candidates must analysis their progress on the SSC JE preparation on a daily basis in order to keep a watch on their progress in the SSC JE preparation for Mechanical Engineering.

EXAM PATTERN FOR SSC JE 2020 -:


1) Before beginning with the preparation of SSC JE, go through the detailed SSC JE Exam Pattern 2020 to know about the markings scheme and number of question from each section and which section have maximum number of question.

2) According to the selection criteria of SSC JE, candidates will have to undergo a two-Stages entry, the first stage of which will be a computer bases Test (CBT-Paper 1) in objective type qualifying which, they will appear for the second stage paper or the descriptive exam.

2) 1st question will be divided into 3 section which are General intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and Part A civil, Part B Mechanical, Part C Electrical.

3) Candidates have the option to choose between parts A,B, C as per their engineering disciplines and the remaining two sections remain common.

4) In SSC JE paper 1,200 is the total marks allotted.

5) There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper 1.
Candidates who will clear the Preliminary paper 1 exam of SSC JE 2020 will be eligible to appear for the Mains Paper II exan as the next stop of the selection process.

PAPER -II

1) As per the SSC JE exam pattern, the SSC JE Paper II is a conversation type of paper to be held in offline mode.

2) SSC JE Paper II will comprise of Part -A General Engineering that is civil and Structural engineering or the part B General  Electrical Engineering or Part C General Engineering Mechanical.

3) 300 is the marks allotted for SSC JE Paper II in total. The total time duration of the main exam test is 3 hours.
